The world moves on.
You’re still carrying it.
For the mornings when you have to show up while someone’s absence changes everything. These pages make room for the grief that doesn’t follow a schedule.
For the days when starting over feels impossible
Everyone sees you showing up.
Few see what it takes.
Maybe you’re grieving. Maybe the life you built no longer feels like yours. Maybe you’re starting over and wondering whether you have anything left to give.
Run Through It meets you in that uncertainty—with an honest story of loss, rebuilding, and learning to keep going without losing yourself.

Run Through It
Does any of this feel familiar?
You get through the day. You answer the messages. You say you’re okay because explaining the truth would take more energy than you have.
You’ve lost someone, left somewhere, or watched a plan unravel. People tell you to move forward. You’re still trying to understand what that means.
And beneath it all is a question you don’t always say out loud: Is it too late to build a life that feels like mine again?
A story you may recognize yourself in
For the mornings when you have to show up while someone’s absence changes everything. These pages make room for the grief that doesn’t follow a schedule.
For the unfamiliar city, the lost sense of belonging, or the identity you’re rebuilding. A story of beginning again while still missing what you left.
For anyone who stays busy because standing still means feeling everything. Olga asks the question at the heart of the book: are we moving through our pain—or away from it?
A moment between you and the page
Take a breath. Read a little. See what feels familiar.
RUN THROUGH IT
This book is for you.
Not for runners specifically. Not for immigrants, or entrepreneurs, or people who have lost someone they love, though if you are any of those things, I think you will find yourself in these pages.
This book is for anyone who has ever stood at a starting line, in a race, in a new city, in a life they didn't plan, and wondered if they had what it takes to keep going.
I have rebuilt myself from nothing more than once. I have packed everything I owned into a single suitcase and stepped into a country where nobody knew my name. I have lost people I loved and been too far away to say goodbye. I have started over, more times than felt reasonable, in ways I never planned.
Through all of it, I ran.
A NOTE BEFORE WE BEGIN
For a long time, I believed that was strength. That keeping your body moving was the same as keeping yourself together. That as long as you were running, through the grief, through the fear, through the losses and the starting overs, you were doing the brave thing.
But somewhere in all those miles, a question started following me that I couldn't outrun:
Was I running through it or away from it?
This book is my honest attempt to answer that. I am not from the other side of everything, safe and finished. I am writing it from inside the journey, still running, still rebuilding, still learning what it means to start again without losing who you are.
My grandmother Arina taught me, without ever saying the words, that the only way through hard things is straight through them. I believed her completely. I still do. Mostly.
You are not alone. And you are not done.
Let's run.

Run Through It is an inspiring and deeply personal memoir that stayed with me after I finished reading. Olga writes with honesty and heart about facing difficult seasons, finding the courage to keep moving forward, and discovering strength along the way. Her journey is a powerful reminder that even when the road feels uncertain, perseverance and hope can carry us farther than we imagine.
I especially appreciated how personal and genuine the story feels. Olga’s resilience makes the book uplifting without glossing over life’s challenges, and her willingness to share her experiences makes her story easy to connect with. I truly enjoyed reading this memoir and would recommend it to anyone looking for an encouraging, heartfelt story about overcoming adversity and continuing to move forward.
I really enjoyed this book! It was engaging from beginning to end, with a great story that kept me interested and wanting to keep reading. The writing is easy to follow, and the characters and emotions feel very real. Definitely a book I would recommend to anyone looking for an enjoyable and memorable read.
This book is about mindset: both in how to run a marathon but also for building a new life as an immigrant in a country like America. Olga learnt to be dedicated to running by her father and to do things right back in Belarus, and she learnt to work hart by her grandmother Arina. These gifts helped her to adapt to a very diffent culture in a capitalistic but free country opposit a culture formed by soviet communist rules in Belarus.
Olga ran the marathons of her dreams - specially Boston - but she also is on her way building carrear by a brand from a product for dogs/pets she is making herself from skills and the mindset of her grandmother Arina
I highly recomment this book. It's a well written book of only a 100 pages, but every word is with meaning and I'll read it again and again, because it gives me help and confident in my work as self employed by thinking of the mindset presented in this book!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book that offers a wonderful story behind Olga’s challenges! I highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of their current situation- you will have a smile on your face at the end! I believe it will further resonate with immigrants or anyone who has been faced with an impasse during their growth. I look forward to the next part of Olga’s life!
I loved this book. The lessons of resilience are so inspiring. I had followed the author on social media for a long time. I thought I knew her, but what was on social media was just a small part of who she really is. I remember seeing Olga in the corridor outside the packet pickup room before the Boston Marathon in 2023 and was struck by her beauty and I could tell she was in great shape. I also correctly guessed she was a fast long distance runner. Shortly after Boston, her FB and IG pages started popping up in my feeds and I chose to follow her. Her social media suggested her life was perfect: her running, an MBA, high fashion clothing, and a successful business career. She appeared to be the stereotype of an elite New Yorker. Of course, I knew that none of those things came without work, but I had no idea what Olga endured to get where she is today. I did not appreciate the challenges she faced as an immigrant who gave up a successful life in Belarus and came to the US with nothing, how she took low paying jobs to survive, worked to improve her English, struggled through graduate school learning in a second language, and how she endured the losses of loved ones thousands of miles away. In this book she shares those sacrifices and challenges. Running marathons is a metaphor for Olga’s life.
It’s a fantastic book with a story that makes it hard to put the book down. Every page was another exciting journey. Highly recommended!
Run Through It is about running, yet it’s about so much more. It was inspirational to read how Olga has triumphed over so much (struggles of immigration, loss, and grieving.) It’s written in a way that allows the reader to relate on many levels. Olga is a talented storyteller, and this book is beautifully written! My only complaint is that the book was not longer!
I loved this book, it shows when you put truly yourself into anything that you want or complete in life, you just need to keep at it work hard and keep fighting for your dreams, always give more than 100 percent. Olga's story is amazing and heart felt. Looking forward to your next adventure and next book. God bless you and your family where ever they may be.
Fantastic book in several ways
1) authentic and transparent journey of the author through the good and tough times
2) a book that ultimately encourages you to persevere and become your you
3) an easy read - hard to put down because you found yourself cheering the author … even though the events already occurred in the past
Well done!
I could not put this book away! The author does a great job of relating her story in a way that brings you squarely to her side. I try to imagine going the other way. “Let’s leave our lives and move to a foreign country with nothing but two suitcases”
Excellent Book! Bring your tissue box, it's a roller-coaster of emotions! Good read, well written. Definitely relatable on many levels. 👏 Worth a Read! 👏
Olga's book is inspiring, clear, and beautiful. I had no idea she named her company after her grandmother, or that the Minsk metro was so grand. Her story is full of little surprises like this, and also a powerful reminder of how movement can be healing.
When reading “Run Through It” it feels like you’re traveling through author’s life story. You can feel author’s mood, up and downs in her life and running as a passion, as a tool, as part of life. The reader definitely feels how deep emotional and, at the same time, how inspiring this book is. It makes you cry at times and also makes you reflect at many different aspects of life. Highly recommend to “read thought it”, whether the running is a part of your life or not. It actually might become after reading “Run Through It”
This book is wonderful. It offers an insight into hope and resilience. Olga offers her readers an inspirational story of rising up and overcoming obstacles to succeed while never giving up.
Great book. A thoughtful and inspiring read. The author shares real experiences, struggles, and lessons in a way that feels honest and relatable. If you’re looking for motivation to keep moving forward, especially during difficult times, this book is worth your time.
The books is amazing, tell us a true story of a very special person. You need to meet her. 🙏
Olga is an ultra high-achiever. In sport, business and just about every walk of life. The photo that accompanies the book will tell you that before you even read a sentence.
The sort of woman who has never taken a short cut, isn’t afraid of hard work and has determination to achieve anything she puts her mind to.
But like anybody, life has a habit of throwing a curve ball now and again. Olga’s story is a touching and personal one about how she used running to overcome the darker days.
You don’t need to be a runner to read this book. I’m not. If I had to run for a bus I would miss it.
But as you read this story you will realise that everyone needs a release from daily stresses - big or small. Olga’s was running. Yours may be something else. But throughout Olga’s story there are little quotes and inspirational phrases that everyone needs to hear and apply to their own lives. Maybe they should be printed on T-shirts. Then the world may be a nicer place.
A fascinating insight into the challenges of leaving a high performing role and moving half way around the world to start all over again. I was really moved by the whole story and was already regularly inspired by Olga’s dedication and determination in her running journey but really good to understand her wider life story. Highly recommended!
What if the next chapter
begins with feeling
a little less alone?
If this feels like your kind of story
You don’t have to be a runner. You don’t have to know what comes next. You can begin exactly where you are.
